Working with Paulson Fire and Flood as a sub-trade means becoming part of our local team. When homeowners call us, it is often during one of the hardest moments they will face. They are trusting us to step into their home, help put things right, and treat them with care. That trust matters, and the way every person on site shows up matters too.
Here in Cranbrook and across the East Kootenays, we believe in working with local people whenever we can. We want to partner with neighbours, friends, and trusted businesses from our own community. It helps us do good work with people we know and trust, and it helps keep jobs, opportunity, and investment close to home. Supporting local trades is one way we help strengthen the community we all live in.

What We Look For in a Partner

Legal Business Name
Operate under your registered legal business name to ensure all documentation, contracts and payments are accurate and compliant
Any DBAs
If your business trades or operates under a different name or nickname, please provide all DBAs for transparency and so we can make sure all our records are up to date.
WorkSafe
Maintain active WorkSafeBC (or regional equivalent) clearance to confirm your team meets all workplace safety and compliance standards.
Liability Insurance
Carry valid liability insurance that reflects the scope of your work - protecting both your team and our clients from potential risks.

We hire good people, give them what they need to do their best, and make decisions that put them first — because that’s what puts you first too. We’re always looking for better ways to do things. Faster drying, less waste, smoother rebuilds. We don’t do things a certain way just because that’s how they’ve always been done. If there’s a better approach, we’ll find it. We live here too, and we want to keep it worth living in. That means reducing what we send to the landfill, cutting emissions where we can, and moving our fleet to electric vehicles. Restoration doesn’t have to come at the environment’s expense. Cranbrook and the East Kootenays aren’t just where we work.
